Chicken Tikka Marsala and spicy orange and cilantro grilled zucchini
Two dishes from different recipe sites. The chicken is from http://appetiteforchina.com/ and the zucchini from http://chaosinthekitchen.com/
These two really compliment one another. The Chicken Takka is wonderful.

Prince Mongo
For some very strange reason I remembered a T shirt the other day that I owned in the eighty's. Why would anyone think about a shirt they owned in the eighty's is strange enough. It was a cool shirt that said something like "Prince Mongo for Mayor. And it had "Memphis" On it and a picture of a Pizza. I never knew exactly who Prince Mongo was and what this was all about. Here is his story...

Perfect Pairs
Sicilian grilled skewered meatballs and asparagus with fried shallots
Since I seem to be on a roll trying and sharing new food combos why stop when your hot. Here is another great culinary combination that won't break your piggy bank. And both recipes are grilled so it works out great!
Sicilian grilled skewered meatballs from http://www.cliffordawright.com/caw/ and asparagus with fried shallots from http://www.dailyunadventuresincooking.com/
I basicly followed everything exactly the way it's written. Except I used prosciutto ham instead of pancetta. And Parm instead of pecorino cheese in the meatballs.
I have used Clifford Wright's site before with awsome results. One intresting aspect of his site that I enjoy is that he gives a short history of each recipe. Interestingly enough this Sicilian meatball recipe originated from the medieval Arab era. Which reminds me of another Sicilian dish I make some times called "1000 year old chicken". Which dates back 1000 years ago when the Emir Mohammed Ibn Itmnah ruled Catania. I will share that recipe in another post.
I'm not as familiar with "Daily adventures in cooking" but if other recipes are as good as this asparagus recipe I will be coming back.
.
Here are the recipes.

The mystery of the Sacred Orb
About 25 years ago I found this unusually round rock that is about the size of a baseball. I'm calling it the "Sacred Orb" for lack of a better name. I found it in Richmond Va. while digging around the foundation of a Church to waterproof the basement. I have no idea what it is. Any Clues?

New Bike Kayak Trailer
I took the new bike kayak trailer on it's maiden voyage yesterday and the results were awesome! I don't think this was originally intended to haul a kayak but there were no issues. It was very easy to handle and it packs up nicely in the back of the truck with the quick release wheels. I removed most of the hardware the trailer came with except for the base and wheels. There were no other modifications necessary. You can pick one of these baby's up from e-bay from Epicsellers. http://myworld.ebay.com/epicsellers
I did get a few looks riding through the heart of Richmond with a Kayak on my bike. I even had one of my paddling friends chase me down the road to have a look at my new rig.
